Cogniquix Operational workspace

Legal

Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Cogniquix Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and in the hosted workspace, and how you can control them. Effective date: 2026.

Basics

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise you on a later visit or keep track of a session. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways. Cookies cannot run programs on your device, and they cannot read other files. We use them sparingly, and only for the purposes described below.

Categories

The cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies, which keep you signed in and protect the workspace from misuse. These cannot be switched off, because the service cannot work without them.
  • Preference cookies, which remember choices such as your display settings and the last page you viewed, so that the workspace behaves as you expect.
  • Analytics cookies, which help us understand which pages are used and where people struggle, so that we can improve the workspace. We use only what we need, and we avoid unnecessary tracking.

We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not sell or share information gathered through cookies for that purpose.

Control

Your choices

Most browsers let you see the cookies stored on your device, delete individual ones, and block cookies altogether. The settings usually live under a menu called Privacy or Security. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, but you can safely refuse preference and analytics cookies if you prefer.

Where your region requires consent for non-essential cookies, we ask for it before setting them, and you can change your mind at any time. Instructions for your browser are usually available in its help pages.

More

Where to read further

For the wider picture of how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy. If you have a question about a specific cookie, or would like more detail about why one is used, write to [email protected] and we will explain it. We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes, and we will show the new effective date at the top of the page.

Durations

How long cookies last

Some cookies last only for a single visit. These are the ones that keep you signed in while you move between pages, and they disappear when you close the browser or your session ends. Others are remembered for longer, such as a preference you have chosen, so that the workspace behaves the same way on your next visit.

We keep the number of long-lasting cookies as small as we reasonably can. A cookie that is no longer needed for its purpose is removed, and we review our use of them as the workspace changes.

Suppliers

Who else may set a cookie

A few parts of the service rely on trusted suppliers, for example to keep the workspace secure. Where a supplier sets a cookie for that narrow purpose, it is treated as strictly necessary and is described in the categories above. We do not permit suppliers to use cookies on our site for advertising, and we choose suppliers who handle information to the standard we set for ourselves.

If you would like to know which cookie served a particular purpose, write to [email protected] and we will explain it clearly, including how long it lasts and what would change if you removed it.
