Legal
Terms of Service
These terms govern your company's use of the hosted Cogniquix workspace and this website. By using the workspace you agree to them. Effective date: 2026.
The service
Use of the hosted workspace
Cogniquix Inc. provides a hosted operational workspace that your company may use to coordinate projects, conversations, timekeeping and a people directory, together with assistants and connections. We grant your company a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the workspace during your subscription, for your internal business purposes. Access is granted to named colleagues under the roles your administrator assigns.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information your company places in the workspace, for keeping sign-in details confidential, and for ensuring that your use complies with the law and with our Acceptable Use policy. Administrators in your company control who may join and what they may see.
Acceptable use
How the workspace may be used
You agree not to use the workspace for anything unlawful, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, to interfere with its normal operation, or to upload content that is harmful or that infringes the rights of others. You agree not to misuse the assistants or connections, and not to attempt to reverse the purpose of the service or resell it without our written agreement.
We may suspend access where we reasonably believe the workspace is being used in breach of these terms, and we will tell your administrator why.
Ownership
Intellectual property
Your company keeps all rights in the content its teams create in the workspace. We keep all rights in the workspace itself — its design, its code and its documentation. Nothing here transfers ownership of either party's property to the other. You grant us the limited permission we need to host and operate the workspace on your behalf, and no more.
Disclaimers
What we promise, and what we do not
The workspace is provided with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted and that every part of it is without error. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties that are not stated here. The workspace is a coordination aid; decisions made by your company remain your company's, and we do not provide professional advice of any kind. See our Disclaimer for further detail.
Liability and law
Limitation of liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, Cogniquix will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or goodwill. Our total liability arising from the workspace will not exceed the amounts your company paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States of America, and the courts of that Commonwealth have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms, and we will post the new effective date here.
